My Journey So Far.
I started the early part of my career as a High School teacher for Secondary level ICSE students in Carmel School and New Cambridge School, Bangalore. Later, I worked as an Assistant Professor for English in prestigious institutions such as B.N.M Degree College, Jain University-School of Engineering and Technology (SET Campus) and N.M.K.R.V Degree College for Women, Bangalore. I completed my Bachelor’s, Master’s and B.Ed in English Language and Literature and cleared the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) in May 2007 and UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) exam in Dec 2012. I have also done a Fundamental Certification Program in Technical Writing in December 2008. I joined Jain University as a full-time Ph.D. scholar and completed my doctoral studies based on Conflict Narratives in December 2021.
I started Dr. Sadiya’s English Classrooms as an educational enterprise to enable students and prepare them for English competitive exams such as UGC-JRF/ NET/SLET/SET. As an academician and edupreneur, I initiated this online platform to empower students with smart ways of studying and learning patterns to unleash their potential and to achieve their dreams. I believe that education should be a tool for empowerment, enabling one to recognize one’s strength and self-image. I believe that hard work, critical thinking and perseverance would ensure success in all ventures.
